This topic covers OSHA’s requirements for safety signs and tags (29 CFR 1910.145).

OSHA’s signs and tags rule regulates the colors, shapes, and wording that employers must use to provide safety information and warnings to employees. In addition, the regulation specifically requires that employees be trained to recognize the different kinds of signs and tags in the workplace and take action based on the messages they contain.
